Bertrange, 6 October 2015 – Tango is implementing an electronic signature system for customers taking out new Tango subscription contracts in its points-of-sale. This new service benefits not only customers but also the environment.

Since 1 July 2015, Tango has been implementing a brand-new electronic signature service for its subscription contracts in all of its points-of-sale. Simple and fast, the new solution developed and set up with Fujitsu Luxembourg, makes the operational processing of subscription contracts more fluid and thus reduces the time customers have to wait in points-of-sale, resulting in an ever more satisfying customer experience.

The success of the implemented system resides in its simple means of operation resembling a handwritten signature. Once the contract has been selected, the Tango sales advisor sends it directly over the Internet to a tablet in front of the customer. The latter can then read and securely sign it. Once the document has been signed, it is sent directly to Tango’s servers for activation and storage in its systems. The customer then receives his contract by e-mail or, if he so requests, by post.

Aside from enabling Tango to increasingly satisfy its customers when it comes to meeting their needs in its points-of-sale, this new solution is an integral part of Tango’s “We Act” Corporate Social Responsibility program, acting as it does for the benefit of the environment. Indeed, thanks to this initiative in partnership with Fujitsu Luxembourg, more than two tons of paper will be saved every year.

“We’re delighted with our partnership with Fujitsu Luxembourg, which has managed to offer us a comprehensive solution adapted to our requirements. With this system, we further increase our efficiency and quality of service for our customers, while doing something in favor of the environment,” explains Jean-François WILLAME, Tango’s Managing Director.

A handwritten electronic signature is a signature written by hand on an electronic device. The solution developed by Fujitsu not only captures the image of the signature for integration into a PDF document, but can also, optionally, capture the biometric settings that make up the signature (stylus speed, rhythm, pressure, angle, etc.). Thanks to this technology, the solution is able to authenticate the signatory with great accuracy and thus prevent any attempts at fraud.

Marc Payal, Managing Director Fujitsu Luxembourg, concludes: “We are very pleased to make the Sign’it electronic signature solution available to Tango and to support the innovation strategy and meet the environmental requirements of a leading telecommunications operator in Luxembourg.”
