xyzmo provides the highest level of e-sign security to avoid the faking of biometrically signed documents.

Biometric encryption

The biometrical signature data is encrypted asymmetrically using a public key directly while recording. Reading the signature for verification purposes is only possible through decrypting it with the corresponding private key, which can either be stored offline, e.g. at a notary, or when required online in e.g. a High Security Module (HSM).

Document binding

The biometric signature is always securely bound to a unique document. Its fingerprint (hash) is encrypted together with the biometrical signature data making copy/paste attacks impossible.

Integrity protection

Once a handwritten signature is captured, a digital signature is also applied, which turns the document into a sealed PDF, making undetectable changes of the document content impossible.

Microsoft just unveiled the third generation of its Surface Pro tablet on stage in New York City. It wants its new Surface Pro 3 to be able to replace your laptop. It’s a bold goal, but Microsoft thinks it has the right combination of power and portability to make it work. The new Surface is bigger than the earlier two models with a 12-inch display, but it’s also thinner, at 9.1 millimeters thick, and lighter, at 1.8 pounds. Inside all of that is one of several different Intel Core processors, running from an i3 up to an i7. Surface chief Panos Panay says it’s “the thinnest Intel Core product ever made,” and it certainly makes for a device that feels extremely light to hold.

Microsoft also wants to rival the traditional pen and paper with a new stylus. One of the features — the ability to click the pen to open OneNote instantly, and wirelessly. You sync it by holding down the top button for about eight seconds, and the two buttons on the side essentially replace the two mouse buttons. The ink “flows” where the pen touches.

rp_pad_2.pngThe xyzmo SIGNificant software has been sold by xyzmo to HP in the UK for the delivery of a complete e-signature solution including software and hardware in a large project, involving more than 22,000 signing stations to authenticate users by their handwritten signature in real-time based on a biometrical signature verification solution.

Unfortunately we are not allowed to publish more details about this outstanding project. We expect that this restriction might change as the project will get quite some visibility in the UK through the large scale roll-out.
